Ukrainian Organic Exporters Represent Ukraine at Gulfood 2025 trade fair in the UAE
Today, on 17 February 2025, one of the world’s largest events for food industry, the Gulfood 2025 international trade fair, started in Dubai, the UAE. It is expected that this year, on its 30th anniversary the trade fair will bring together over 5,500 exhibitors from 129 countries, showcasing more than one million products.
Over the five-day trade fair, 7 organic exporters will represent Ukraine’s organic sector at the National Stand of Ukraine (Hall Trade Centre Arena, Stand S-151). Companies from different regions of Ukraine, including Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Odesa, Kyiv, and Cherkasy, are presenting their organic products to the potential buyers and partners from the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa). The range of organic products include grains, groats, snacks, baby food, frozen vegetables and fruits, berries, juices, nuts, and dairy products.

The official opening of the National Stand of Ukraine took place today, featuring welcome speeches from:
- Oleksii Grushetskyi, Deputy Director for Export Promotion of the State Institution “Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office”,
- Olena Kolomoitseva, National Project Manager of International Trade Centre (ITC) project “Linking SMEs in the fruits and vegetables sector to global and domestic markets and value chains”,
- Natalie Prokopchuk, Organic Component Coordinator of the Swiss-Ukrainian Programme “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (QFTP)
The days ahead promise productive business meetings, networking opportunities, and new partnerships, offering Ukrainian organic exporters valuable prospects for international collaboration and market expansion.
Ukraine is represented at Gulfood 2025 by four national and individual stands, with a total of 52 companies showcasing the export potential of the country’s agrifood sector.
