On 16 August 2023, the State register of operators producing organic products under legal requirements in the field of organic production, circulation and labeling of organic products was launched in Ukraine (Register of Operators) maintained by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine (Ministry of Agrarian Policy).
The first 4 operators of the organic market have already been added to the Register: GALEKS-AGRO PE (Zhytomyr oblast), AGROWEST GROUP LLC (Zhytomyr oblast), Agrofirm Ukraina-Govtva PAE (Poltava oblast), Okolytsia FE (Poltava oblast). The companies received certificates confirming the compliance of the production of their products with the requirements of the Ukrainian legislation in the field of organic production, circulation, and labeling of organic products.
The importance of this event is that from now on organic products bearing the organic state logo will appear on store shelves in Ukraine.
