Conference “Organic Day in Ukraine 2024”

On 23 September 2024, for the third time, Ukraine will celebrate the Organic Day together with EU which is an important event within the framework of Ukraine’s EU integration strategy. 

This event demonstrates the consistent implementation of the EU Green Deal strategy in the Ukrainian organic sector. 

The goal of Organic Day in Ukraine is to raise awareness among Ukrainian consumers about organic products, promote organic production practices, and consolidate participants of the organic sector in Ukraine. 

The Conference will be held in a hybrid format (online and in person):  

Date: 23 September 2024 (Monday), 

Venue: First Conference Hall, Blue Hall, 25 Khreschatyk St, Kyiv city  

Time: 09:00 – 15:00 (Kyiv time)

The conference is organised by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and Organic Initiative Public Association in partnership with Ekoterra Lviv city non-governmental organisation,  Information Center “Green Dossier”, Organic Ukraine NGO, Organic Federation of Ukraine and Biodynamic Association of Ukraine with support of: 

• Switzerland within the framework of Swiss-Ukrainian program “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine”, implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland) (QFTP) and  
• Germany in the frame of the German-Ukrainian Cooperation in Ukraine project (COA), which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
