Seminar “Best Practices for the Implementation of Articles 28 and 29 of Regulation (EU) No 2018/848: A Vade Mecum on Official Investigations in Organic Production”

We invite you to take part in online seminar “Best Practices for the Implementation of Articles 28 and 29 of Regulation (EU) No 2018/848: A Vade Mecum on Official Investigations in Organic Production”, which will be held in the afternoon on 23 June 2025

The aim of the event is to provide practical information on organic production based on the publication “A Vade Mecum on Official Investigations in Organic Products”, which is now available in Ukrainian. The seminar will present an overview of the main provisions of the publication, as well as selected chapters illustrating a practical and systematic approach to the implementation of preventive measures by organic operators and their assessment by control bodies or authorities. Three experts from the European Union and Ukraine will share their experience.

Working languages: English and Ukrainian (simultaneous interpretation will be provided). 

Duration: 2.5 hours. The Zoom link will be sent to registered participants a few days prior to the event. 

The publication serves as a practical tool to support official investigations, which must be conducted when a control body, control authority or competent authority receives substantiated information about the presence of products or substances not authorised for use in organic production, as per Article 9(3) of Regulation (EU) No 2018/848. 

The Ukrainian translation of the publication will be available online after the seminar.
