Study tour for Ukrainian organic farm advisors

Swiss-Ukrainian Programme “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (QFTP) funded by Switzerland and implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland) is pleased to announce the call for applications for a study tour for Ukrainian organic farm advisors, which will take place from 15 to 22 June, 2025. 

The purpose of this study tour is to enhance the technical capacity of Ukrainian organic agricultural consultants and to strengthen their professional network within the organic agriculture sector. The study tour is organised together with the Organic Standard certification body. 

The study tour will include visits to organic farms in Poland and Germany, as well as participation in the Organic Field Days in Germany, the largest event of its kind in Europe, providing participants with valuable insights into cutting-edge technologies in organic crop production. 

Сonditions of participation: 

• Participation in the study tour is free of charge for selected advisors. 
• Travel and accommodation costs, insurance will be covered by QFTP. 
• Participants are responsible for covering their own expenses related to meals, personal needs, and other incidental costs during the trip. 
• Interpretation during the tour will be provided.

Please note that registration does not guarantee participation automatically as the size of the group is limited to up to eight people. Selected participants will receive official confirmation via email by 5 May 2025, when the selection process is completed along with all further details. 

After the study tour, participants will be expected to share the knowledge and experience gained with fellow advisors, consultants, and farmers in their professional networks.
