24 Ukrainian Companies to Showcase Their Organic Products at BIOFACH 2025
Today, 11 February, the National Pavilion of Ukraine was officially opened at the international trade fair BIOFACH 2025. The event will run for four days, from 11 to 14 February 2025, in Nuremberg, Germany. Within the National Pavilion, 24 Ukrainian exporters are presenting a wide range of organic products, demonstrating the high quality, competitiveness, and resilience of the country’s organic sector despite the challenges posed by the war. BIOFACH 2025 participants have the opportunity to explore a diverse selection of Ukrainian organic products, including berries and fruits, dairy products, nuts, honey and beekeeping products, chocolate, cereals, grains and pulses, juices and jams, fruit rolls, leather and chips, baby food, snacks and breakfast cereals, medicinal herbs, oils, oilcakes, and more. Some of these products are already successfully exported to the European Union. On the first day of the trade fair, the official opening of the National Pavilion of Ukraine took place, featuring welcome addresses from the organisers and partners, including:- Maryna Kyslytska, Head of the State Policy Division on Organic Production of the Food Security and Excise Products Directorate of the Department of State Policy on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures, Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine;
- Sergii Zakharin, Deputy Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalisation;
- Marco Kräuchi, Program Manager, State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), Switzerland (development partner of Swiss programmes QFTP and SIPPO);
- Stefan Dreesmann, Team Leader, German-Ukrainian Cooperation in Organic Agriculture (COA);
- Iryna Kukhtina, President of Ukrainian Berries Association.
