From 28 to 30 October 2025, the international food and beverage trade fair WorldFood Ukraine took place in Kyiv, featuring for the first time an Organic Food Pavilion organised by the Organic Initiative Public Association with the support of Switzerland within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian Programme “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (QFTP).
WorldFood Ukraine is the largest B2B platform in Ukraine for the development of the food retail market. This year, 25 Ukrainian producers of certified organic products had the opportunity to present their range within the Organic Food Pavilion.
The Pavilion became a meeting point for companies with diverse market experience, from brands already present in national retail chains to those only planning to enter the market.
Producers showcased a wide range of higher value added certified organic products, including cereals, pasta, seeds, honey and bee products, nuts, fruit and vegetables, freeze-dried berries, dairy products, snacks, confectionery, canned vegetables and more.
The full list of participating companies is available at the link.
During the trade fair, a series of B2B meetings was organised for Pavilion exhibitors with representatives of national retail chains and trading platforms, including Auchan Ukraine Hypermarket LLC (special project Responsible Producer), FORA LLC, TAVRIA V LLC, and Silpo-Food LLC (special project Lavka Tradytsii). These meetings helped producers better understand retail requirements regarding product range, packaging and positioning of organic products on store shelves.
Visitors to the Pavilion had the opportunity to taste organic products from Ukrainian brands such as Organic Milk, Galeks-Agro, Ecorod, Travka, Yanko Tea, Staryi Porytsk, Brancho, MOL’FAR, Stodola, Food for Thoughts, Nuts’N’Garden, and HroomRoom, and to engage directly with the producers.
In addition, the Catalogue of Ukrainian Organic Producers was presented during the opening of the Pavilion. The Catalogue serves as a practical tool to promote Ukrainian organic brands on the domestic market. It is primarily intended for representatives of national retail chains, but will also be useful for end consumers.
The Catalogue was developed by Organic Standard certification body and the Information Center “Green Dossier” (OrganicInfo.ua) with the support of Switzerland within the Swiss-Ukrainian Programme “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (QFTP), implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland).
The organisation of the Organic Food Pavilion at WorldFood Ukraine marks another step towards strengthening consumer trust in organic products and raising their visibility, which in turn contributes to the sustainable development of the organic sector of Ukraine.
