Organic Shopping Campaign Held at Auchan Supermarkets

From 7 to 27 May 2025 Organic Shopping campaign took place at the Auchan supermarkets across Ukraine. During this period, customers had the opportunity to purchase certified Ukrainian organic products with up to 20% off.

This initiative at Auchan was implemented by the Organic Initiative Public Association with support from Switzerland within the Swiss-Ukrainian Programme “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine”.

The aim of the campaign was to promote certified organic products and raise consumer awareness in Ukraine about organic labelling.

Organic Shopping at Auchan provided a valuable opportunity to explore the range of organic products, choose trustworthy brands, and make a conscious decision in favour of quality, responsible consumption, and environmental care. By purchasing organic products, consumers also supported small and medium-sized Ukrainian producers who operate in compliance with national organic legislation.

The following companies took part in the campaign, offering their certified organic products at promotional prices:

  1. Liluck LLC (birch sap)
  2. Organic Original LLC (Ecorod) (groats, flour-based products, snacks)
  3. Firma Diamant LTD LLC (Kozub Product) (groats)
  4. Skvyrskyi Grain Processing Factory LLC (Skvyrianka) (groats and flour-based products)
  5. Organic Meat Product LLC (Organic Meat) (meat and sausage products and semi-finished goods)
  6. Organic milk LLC (dairy products)
  7. Danube Agrarian LLC  (juices, jams, honey, fruit roll-ups)
  8. Galeks-Agro PE (groats)
  9. Jiva LTD LLC (Zhyva) (sunflower seeds)
  10. Med Ukrainy LLC (honey)

During the campaign, customers could identify organic products on the shelves by the organic state logo: a green leaf in the centre of two interlinked yellow and blue circles, with a sign below “Organic Product”. This label guarantees that the product is certified in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Basic Principles and Requirements for Organic Production, Circulation and Labelling of Organic Products”. Products could also be identified by the EU organic logo – euroleaf.

The campaign was organised by the Auchan supermarket chain and the Organic Initiative Public Association, with support from Switzerland within the Swiss-Ukrainian Programme “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (QFTP) by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland).
