Ukrainian Organic Products at the International Ethnic Festival “Kraina Mriy”

International ethnic festival Kraina Mriy, initiated by renowned Ukrainian rock musician Oleh Skrypka took place in Kyiv from 20 to 22 June 2025. As part of the event, eight Ukrainian producers from various regions of the country showcased their certified organic products.

Kraina Mriy is one of the most vibrant cultural events in Ukraine, bringing together music, traditions, and crafts. First held in 2004, the festival has since become an annual gathering, attracting visitors from across Ukraine and around the world. This year, the event took place at the Hryshko National Botanical Garden and featured performances by music bands, craft fairs, and traditional Ukrainian handcraft workshops.

The participation of organic producers in the festival was made possible with the support from Switzerland within Swiss-Ukrainian Programme “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (QFTP). The participation of producers in the festival was organised by the Organic Initiative Public Association

The following companies presented their products at the festival:

  1. Brancho Ukraine LLC (Brancho), Zhytomyr region
  2. Danube Agrarian LLC, Odesa region
  3. Food for Thought LLC, Poltava region

  6. Organic milk LLC, Zhytomyr region
  7. Oril-Eco LLC (Panfruit), Dnipropetrovsk region

Participation in such a large-scale event provided Ukrainian organic producers with the opportunity not only to present their products to a broad audience, but also to engage directly with consumers, introduce the principles of organic production to them, and explain the benefits of organic products. This type of direct communication is vital for building consumer trust in organic brands.

The presence of organic brands at mass cultural events helps to raise awareness of Ukrainian organic products among consumers, support small and medium-sized organic enterprises, and contribute to the development of the domestic organic market as a whole.

Such initiatives demonstrate the importance of comprehensive support for the organic sector, including promotional activities that enable Ukrainian producers to strengthen their positions on the domestic market.

The participation of the organic brands in the international ethnic festival “Kraina Mriy” was organised by the Organic Initiative Public Association with support from Switzerland within the Swiss-Ukrainian Programme “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (QFTP), mplemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland).
