Presentation of the report on “The experiences of EU member states about performing official controls for animal welfare”

On 13 December 2023, at 10:30 am, the QFTP will hold an online meeting to present the report “The experience of EU Member States in the implementation of official control over animal welfare”.  

The main goals of the meeting are to highlight the European legal framework for official controls for animal welfare and status of harmonization of Ukrainian legislation in this area, to explain the particularities of the implementation of the official control system for animal welfare in selected EU countries and to discuss the main recommendations for implementation of the control systems for animal welfare in Ukraine.  

Target audience: representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection (central and regional levels), international technical assistance projects in the field of animal health and welfare.
