On 18 February 2026, a strategic workshop was held in Kyiv between the Swiss-Ukrainian Programme “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (QFTP) and the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.
The meeting focused on key priorities for cooperation in the areas of sustainable agricultural development, advancement of the organic sector, and strengthening regulatory frameworks in line with European legislations.
Particular attention was given to legislative harmonisation, institutional capacity building, and ensuring transparent and predictable conditions for market operators.
Participants confirmed their shared commitment to continued coordination aimed at supporting the sustainable development of Ukraine’s agri-food sector and enhancing its competitiveness on international markets.
The outcomes of the strategic workshop will be presented and discussed during the organic session of the QFTP Sounding Board, scheduled in May / June 2026.
