On May 10, 2023, representatives of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine, and the QFTP program team visited Ukrainian organic market operator Organic Original LLC (Ecorod TM).
The Organic Original was founded in 2011 and it was one of the pioneers on the Ukrainian market of organic production that is actively developing. Its organic products are certified according to EU organic regulation and are labelled with the official organic logo of the European Union — «Euroleaf». Despite the war, the company continues to work and sell its products to customers mainly on the domestic market.
The company processes organic products, the range of which includes various cereals, honey, oil, flour, oat flakes, corn sticks with different flavours, and others.
With the financial support of the Swiss-Ukrainian programs “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (QFTP) and Organic Trade for Development in Eastern Europe (OT4D) within the two phases Grant Program “Support of organic sector in Ukraine” company has received funds for the organic certification, as well as for the implementation of the CRM system and the development of a chatbot for the sale of organic products in the domestic product market.
Also the representatives of the Organic Original actively participated in the international exhibitions the Middle East Organic&Natural Expo (UAE, 2021 р.) and Biofach (Germany, 2023) as participant of the collective stands of Ukraine, that were organized with the support of QFTP.
