World Cheese Awards 2024
World Cheese Awards (WCA) is the largest cheese competition in the world, founded in the UK and held since 1988 in various countries.
This year, the event will take place on November 15-16 in Viseu, Portugal.
The competition is traditionally open to both large cheese companies and artisan cheesemakers. The main requirement is to provide documented proof of quality and safety of the product. The partner and official representative of the event in Ukraine is Ardis Group.
In the past two years, 62 Ukrainian cheeses have participated in the competition, with 26 of them receiving awards.
This year, 11 cheese producers will represent Ukraine at the prestigious international World Cheese Awards:
- «Mukko», Lviv region;
- «Rory», Kyiv region;
- «Stanislavska cheese factory», Ivano-Frankivsk region;
- «Zinka», Kyiv region;
- «Mum’s cheese», Zakarpattia;
- «Lel’», Kirovohrad region;
- «Budz Baran», Ivano-Frankivsk region;
- «Doobra Farm», Kyiv region;
- «WineTime», Kyiv region;
- «Harbuzovyi Rai», Lviv region;
- «Cheese Club», Cherkasy region.
