General Terms and Conditions for events

Applicability

The following general terms and conditions are valid for all events organized by QFTP. All services provided in the context of the meeting will be subject to these General Terms and Conditions. By registering, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.

 

Concluding the agreement

Once you have registered for the meeting, you will receive confirmation by email.

 

Changes to the programme, place or timing of the meeting

(1) Where there is good reason to do so, the organiser is entitled to change the place and/or timing of meetings or cancel the meeting. Attendees will then be permitted to withdraw.

(3) In case of force majeure, for example war, unrest, natural disaster, fire, strike, lock-out, sabotage by third parties, official order etc., neither party may hold the other liable for any delay to or non-performance of the agreement which results from this force majeure.

(4) The organiser reserve the right to make changes to the programme.

 

Liability

Regardless of the legal reason, the organisers are only liable for financial and material damage arising intentionally or from gross negligence. The organisers accept no liability for: accidents occurring during the meeting, or on route to or from the meeting venue; theft; or loss of or damage to any items.

 

Data protection

(1) You can register for our events online. For this purpose, the following information may be required by participants: name, surname, name of the organization, position, e-mail, telephone number. We need this data to register your online application for the selected event and to enable your participation in the event. The provision of further, specifically marked data is voluntary and is used in order to optimize the event content and to be able to use further contact options with you. You are entitled to withdraw your consent to the above paragraph at any time.

(2) The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in offering you an online application for our event in accordance with Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR and in accordance with the Law of Ukraine on Personal Data Protection dated 01.06.2010 № 2297-VI. The data will not be passed on to third parties or used in any other way.

(3As part of the application service, you can voluntarily choose the option to release your data for the purpose of networking. Your details (first name, last name, organization, street, postcode, city, telephone, e-mail) will be recorded in a list of participants, which will be sent to the other participants by e-mail or given in person. Your data will be entered in the participant lists on the basis of your consent. Your data will not be used for any other purpose than the compilation of participant lists. Consent to appear on the list is given separately for each eventand can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

 

Applicable law and jurisdiction

(1) The provisions of Ukraine law shall apply exclusively to all relationships under the agreement.

(2) The place of jurisdiction for all claims relating to your order is Kyiv, Ukraine.

(3) The organiser is also entitled to bring legal action under a different jurisdiction.

(4) Should any individual provisions be or become ineffective, this will not affect either the effectiveness of the rest of the agreement or these Terms and Conditions.
