The Swiss-Ukrainian Programme “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (Quality FOOD Trade Programme, QFTP) annually supports private and public institutions in the dairy sector (service providers) in providing effective advice and services to milk producers and processors, as well as disseminating best practices and knowledge through the provision of small grants on a competitive basis.
During the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Switzerland’s support for Ukraine’s dairy sector within the framework of the QFTP, the seven winners of the seventh competition for service providers were announced, who are the undisputed leaders in the competitive selection process.
The competition received 41 applications from 16 service providers. Based on the results of the second stage of evaluation, there is a possibility of supporting other applications.
As a reminder, QFTP supports activities in six thematic areas. Detailed terms and conditions of the competition are available at the link (in Ukrainian only). All evaluation criteria were divided into three categories: exclusion (eligibility), qualification, and key performance criteria.

“One of the important focuses of QFTP’s work is strengthening the capacity of service providers. Supporting them is an investment in the development of Ukraine’s dairy sector, as it is service providers who help producers and processors gain access to knowledge, modern solutions and best practices. The seventh competition aims to support projects that will contribute to raising awareness of raw milk quality control, approaches to diagnosing mastitis pathogens, disease prevention, trade development, and value creation in the dairy sector. Supporting milk producers in the oblasts of Ukraine most affected by the war remains a priority,” said Iryna Vysotska, Deputy Local Manager of QFTP, Dairy Sector Component Coordinator.
